Coping with a cancer diagnosis is difficult and treatment can be exhausting. We want your journey to be as “stress-free” as possible, and help you avoid lengthy and uncomfortable car rides, stressful travel arrangements, and being away from home for extended periods of time.

Our infusion service eliminates the need for long-distance travel and provides an opportunity for more recovery time at home. Meeker Memorial is proud to offer comfort and convenience for patients in the surrounding community who need outpatient infusions/treatments.

Chemotherapy and Infusion
Meeker Memorial offers patients the opportunity to schedule chemotherapy treatment and infusion services at the patient’s convenience, in a private and personal setting. Your care will be provided to you by chemotherapy/biotherapy trained Registered Nurses in a relaxing space.

In addition to chemotherapy, we also provide infusions, injections and blood transfusions for patients who do not have cancer. We collaborate with local physicians and visiting specialty physicians to coordinate treatment plans. Infusion Services include the following:

• Chemotherapy (IV infusion or injections)
• Blood transfusions
• IV Therapy for patients (daily, weekly, monthly or annually)
• Monthly port flushes
• PICC dressing changes
• Antibiotics or other injections or infusions for patient medical needs

In a team approach with the laboratory and diagnostic services, working closely with your doctor, the oncologist can supervise chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted cancer therapy treatments.
