Cardiac Rehabilitation (Phase II & III)
Cardiac rehabilitation begins as you recover from a heart attack or heart surgery. You may come from another hospital after your surgery, but once you are home, Meeker Memorial Hospital offers Phase II and Phase III programs.
You can count on caring staff to monitor your exercise and provide education to you three times a week for 6 to 12 weeks-close to home. Your team of nurses, dietitian, and support staff will be sure to get you on the road to recovery.
Our Phase III is the continuation of this rehabilitation program and can serve as a beginning point if you are at risk for coronary disease or have another type of heart condition.
With Meeker Memorial’s team by your side, making positive lifestyle changes with your physical and emotional well-being in mind is the goal of these programs.
Note (effective 4/1/2020): The current pandemic has impacted our ability to run our Phase III program.
