At Meeker Memorial our goal is simple …  to make the birthing experience as comfortable as possible for everyone involved, but especially for mom and baby.  Our team of nurses and providers are committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. 

Our birthing center and services are equipped with features that help create a birthing experience that uniquely meets your preferences and needs, including:

  • Large private birthing rooms with whirlpool tubs
  • State-of-the-art infant security with mom/baby electronic identification system
  • Doula services
  • Lactation program including ILBCC 
  • Spinning babies
  • Donor breast milk
  • Doctor delivery (not laborists)
  • Continuation of care through pregnancy, rooming in, evidence-based postpartum care (delayed cord clamping, golden hour)

Our team of compassionate and highly skilled physicians work in concert with our nursing staff to provide you with a personalized experience. From natural childbirth support (birthing balls, aroma therapy) to advance pain management techniques (epidural anethesia and other medications) you and your baby will receive the best care possible through all stages of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care.

Our board-certified breastfeeding consultant can also provide consultation and a visit with new mothers to feel comfortable with breastfeeding and answer questions.

OB/GYN Services

Scott Schultz, M.D., OB/GYN specializes in obstetric services including prenatal health consultation and clinic visits, labor, delivery, and postpartum care. Gynecological services, including routine preventative care, basic infertility services, evaluation of abnormal PAP smears, bleeding problems or surgery (including minimally invasive procedures). You can count on a personalized and professional approach – an expert you can trust in women’s health and care.

Weekender Classes

Meeker Memorial offers in-person, childbirth weekender classes. Childbirth in-person classes are for expectant mothers (plus one support person) and is recommended at 5-6 months of pregnancy (end of the second trimester).
