HWY 12 Construction to Dassel

2025: Dassel to Cokato

  • Repair the concrete and replace asphalt shoulders from east of Hwy 15 in Dassel to the end of the concrete section in Cokato.
  • Upgrade sidewalks and pedestrian ramps in Dassel to meet ADA standards.
  • Ramps along the trail between Dassel and Cokato will be upgraded to meet ADA standards.

Traffic impacts

  • In 2025, Highway 12 will be closed to through traffic from Dassel to Cokato during construction. Through traffic will be routed to Highway 15 and County Roads 21 and 3.
  • Hwy 12 will be accessible to local homes and businesses. To provide access, only one lane will be worked on at a time, starting from west to east.
  • Construction dates are subject to change depending on weather and other unforeseeable circumstances.

We’re Open and Fully Staffed

  • Despite the nearby construction, our clinic is open and we are operating at full capacity with no changes to our hours or services.

Navigating the Construction

  • The intersection of Hwy 12 and 15 may be marked “closed to thru traffic,” but you are still able to reach our building.
  • You can drive past the barricade and continue directly to the clinic.

If You’re Coming from the East (Cokato)

  • Follow the MnDOT detour to reach the Hwy 12/15 intersection, then turn through the barricade and proceed to the clinic.
