To Our Great Community:

Thank you for your support and understanding as we are faced with additional challenges in healthcare recently.  We are committed to providing safe, quality care, but our ability to do so is being threatened.  Though our teams are exhausted, our doctors, nurses, and others working in healthcare are doing everything we can to meet your needs when you are sick.

Many have asked what can be done to help.

  1. Please have patience with us.

We are seeing higher volumes of care and higher acuity of patients.  This has caused us to shift staff to where the needs are greatest and is having an impact on certain areas of our facility.  Unfortunately, these changes may impact you.  You may have your physical delayed in the clinic, or you may see our Urgent Care Clinic hours change.  We are also looking at elective inpatient surgeries on a case-by-case basis and other services may change based on the needs of the organization.

  1. Please be kind to our staff.

Right now we are limited in transferring patients to higher level of care because of lack of beds.  This additional strain has been demoralizing to many people on our team.  We are also experiencing increased incidents of patients and/or family members directing their frustrations towards our staff and providers.  This has only increased their already stressful day.

  1. Wear a mask, social distance, and consider getting a vaccine.

Anything we can do to limit the spread of sickness will benefit us all!

We are all in this together, so thank you for working with us as we do our best to support our community.
