[JULY 2, 2026] Meeker Memorial Hospital & Clinics is pleased to announce that Dr. Alfredmy Chessor, MD, will begin seeing patients as a primary care provider in Litchfield starting in July 2026.
Dr. Chessor brings over 25 years of diverse medical experience to Meeker Memorial, including provision of care in family medicine, urgent care settings, hospital medicine, military service, and international healthcare leadership. Most recently, she has served as a partner in a physician-owned family medicine physician group at Astera Health in Wadena and as an urgent care physician with Allina Health in the Twin Cities. Throughout her career, Dr. Chessor has cared for patients in a variety of settings, from rural communities in Minnesota to military and humanitarian missions around the world. Her experience includes providing full-spectrum family medicine, urgent care, inpatient care, and community health services.
A Minnesota native, Dr. Chessor earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his Family Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center (now Hennepin Healthcare) in Minneapolis, where she later served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Chessor will provide comprehensive primary care services for patients of all ages, including preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness visits, and treatment of acute illnesses.
