[DECEMBER 18, 2025] – Meeker Memorial Hospital & Clinics (MMHC) is pleased to announce a new partnership with CentraCare’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team, strengthening care for newborns and their families in the local community. 

This collaboration supports a shared goal of keeping mothers and babies together and close to home whenever possible after delivery. While most births progress without complication, some infants are born with medical conditions that require specialized expertise. 

Through this partnership, MMHC now has the ability to connect directly with CentraCare’s NICU specialists using secure virtual technology. This allows CentraCare’s expert NICU team to provide real-time guidance and support to Meeker Memorial’s local care team when complex newborn care needs arise. 

“Access to NICU expertise through consultative telehealth strengthens Meeker Memorial’s care team and enhances our ability to support newborns who may experience medical concerns at the time of delivery. This telehealth support reinforces Meeker Memorial’s commitment to keeping families together,” said Angie Dietel, Chief Nursing Officer at Meeker Memorial. “This partnership helps ensure our youngest patients receive the right care at the right time, while keeping families together whenever possible.” 

The collaboration reflects Meeker Memorial’s ongoing commitment to providing compassionate care to each person and expanding access to specialized medical services within the community.
